801st Stated Meeting of New Castle Presbytery - On Tuesday May 19, 2009 members of the New Castle Presbytery convened at Wicomico Presbyterian Church in Salisbury, Maryland. Attending from Westminster were Reverend Frank Deming, Sally Cordrey, Jim Reed, Betty Carnahan, Clovis Mutombo, Brenda Sims. The meeting was highlighted by the presence and contributions of Reverend Bruce Reyes-Chow, of San Francisco who currently serves as Moderator of the Presbyterian General Assembly. Westminster Worship Service starts its summer schedule effective July 5th. All are invited to join us in worship at 8:30 am. We are a friendly and casual congregation, so drop in and worship with us on your way to the beach. If you aren't an early riser, we also conduct worship services at our year round time of 10:00 am. We look forward to seeing you at one of our services very soon!

Church Brochures Available - The Stewardship Committee, along with the help of Betty Carnahan and Sally Cordrey, has created a lovely brochure that briefly describes Westminster Presbyterian Church, its philosophy of ministry and its programs. They are in the wall rack in the Narthex, on the same wall as the church office. Please feel free to share these, along with an invitation to church, with your new neighbors and/or friends and acquaintances who may be looking for a church home.
