The Deacons' new Prayer Chain Booklets are available. This special ministry offers prayer support in crisis or emergency and is available to anyone in need. The booklet lists contact names and phone numbers that will initiate a prayer chain. "Intercession is not general and vague but very concrete: a matter of definite persons and definite difficulties and therefore of definite petitions. The more definite (your) intercession becomes, the more promising it is." Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Life Together
If you want the Deacons to send a greeting card to someone for a special occasion, call Pauline Cottingham (her phone number is available at the church office 302-227-2109).
Circle One If you have someone in your family - or a friend - who would appreciate a greeting card (birthday, get well, sympathy or other occasion), Circle 1 would like to send them one. Please see or call Pauline Cottingham (Pauline's phone number is available at the church office, 302-227-2109).
The Prayer Shawl Group meets for prayer and needle handiwork on Fridays 9:30-11:30 AM. The prayers offered while knitting and crocheting bring comfort not only to those that will receive prayer shawls, but to those who produce them.
